Job summary

Qualifications

• Five (5) years nursing experience.
• Two (2) years supervisory experience.
• Current Tennessee nursing license.

Responsibilities

• Maintain established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance program and safety standards.
• Participate in organization and functions of nursing and hospital organizations.
• Coordinate, direct and motivate personnel under supervision.
• Provide leadership in solving problems.
• Assist in planning and implementing educational programs for all levels.
• Develop and maintain a staffing plan which promotes utilization of all personnel.
• Participate in budget development and quality improvement initiatives.
