Job summary

Talentify in Maine is seeking a Payroll/Labor Manager for a nursing center. This role focuses on controlling labor spend, payroll processing, scheduling support, and ensuring staffing aligns with budgets.

You will serve as the primary contact for scheduling and timekeeping, balance staffing needs with financial performance, and lead the Labor Management Team to optimize KPIs.

A Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in healthcare payroll or scheduling preferred; competitive benefits and on-site work.

Qualifications

• Five plus years of experience preferably in healthcare or long-term care with proven track record in scheduling, timekeeping, or payroll.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Psychology or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and control the nursing center's labor spend and process payroll per policies.
• Serve as primary nursing center contact for scheduling, timekeeping and payroll.
• Balance staffing needs with employee preferences and financial performance.
• Use software to minimize overtime and agency spend while maintaining HPPD and salary expense within budget.
• Lead Labor Management Team to optimize clinical, financial and HR operating results.
• Maintain nursing staff coverage at all times.
