Job summary

Girling Home Health Care of New York, part of the Valence Care Family of Companies, is seeking a Nurse Scheduler to provide administrative and clerical support to the RN department and Directors.

The role involves coordinating daily RN/HHA case placements, communicating scheduling updates to Case Managers, and maintaining accurate case records in McKesson. Office locations include Brooklyn or Staten Island.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
• Two years in a busy environment with phones, scheduling modules, and filing.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized while handling clerical tasks.
• Proficient with scheduling systems and computer use.
• Strong communication with healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily RN/HHA case placements based on requests.
• Communicate therapist assignments and scheduling updates to Case Managers.
• Process service changes, continuations, and follow-ups as needed.
• Enter and maintain scheduling information in McKesson and internal systems.
• Maintain placement logs and related documentation.
• Provide coverage for other clerical staff as needed.
• Provide responsive customer service to therapists and internal teams.
• Escalate issues to supervisor and ensure HIPAA compliance.
