Job summary

The Queen's North Hawaii Community Hospital, part of The Queen's Health Systems, seeks a Nursing professional to lead performance improvement initiatives and ensure credentialing and licensing compliance.

The role supervises medical staff, analyzes incidents, and coordinates risk management, requiring a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Hawaii RN license. Master’s preferred; three years nursing with one year PI experience; strong data and IT skills preferred.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years nursing experience with at least one (1) year performance improvement experience.
• Knowledge of performance improvement, databases/information systems preferred.
• Demonstrated experience with computer word-processing, spreadsheet, and presentation applications may be required depending upon area of assignment.

Responsibilities

• Leads, plans, coordinates, implements, and evaluates performance improvement and risk management activities for the Queen's North Hawaii Community Hospital (QNHCH) in accordance with department’s goals and objectives and mission of QNHCH and The Queen’s Health Systems (QHS).
• Oversees and supports medical staff, departments, and services in meeting requirements of licensing, accreditation, and credentialing agencies.
• Investigates, documents and analyzes incidents occurring throughout QNHCH, which may result in general and/or professional liability claims.
• Leads the implementation, and facilitation of key clinical performance improvement efforts.
