Job summary

Kansas City Orthopaedic Institute is seeking a full-time Quality Reporting Specialist to join our Risk, Quality & Compliance team. You will own CMS IQR, eCQMs, NHSN, HCAHPS and related federal/state reporting, collaborating with clinical leaders and IT to strengthen documentation and data capture.

We value detail-oriented Registered Nurses with CMS reporting experience and BSN; CPHQ is preferred. Enjoy a collaborative, smaller-hospital environment and meaningful autonomy in quality initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Registered Nurse with CMS reporting experience (IQR, eCQMs, NHSN or similar).
  • BSN preferred; CPHQ certification a plus.
  • Detail-oriented with strong clinical knowledge and data capture.
  • Ability to partner with IT and clinical leaders to strengthen documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Manage accurate, timely submission of CMS IQR, Hospital Harm eCQMs and Promoting Interoperability measures.
  • Coordinate with clinical and IT teams to stay ahead of regulatory changes.
  • Ensure data quality and assist in broader quality initiatives as time allows.
  • Support HCAHPS and related federal/state reporting requirements.

Join a team dedicated to delivering exceptional outcomes and outstanding patient experience!We're seeking a full-time Quality Reporting Specialist to join our Risk, Quality & Compliance team at a focused specialty orthopedic hospital and take ownership of KCOI’s regulatory quality reporting.You’ll independently manage the accurate, timely submission of CMS IQR and Hospital Harm eCQMs, Promoting Interoperability, Hybrid Measures, THA/TKA PRO-PM, NHSN data, HCAHPS, and related federal/state reports. You’ll partner with clinical leaders and IT to strengthen documentation and data capture, stay ahead of regulatory changes, and help protect our public quality metrics.This role offers meaningful autonomy, a collaborative smaller-hospital environment, and the chance to contribute to broader quality initiatives as time allows.We’re looking for a detail-oriented Registered Nurse with solid clinical experience and direct knowledge of CMS reporting (IQR, eCQMs, NHSN, or similar).
