Job summary

Community Counseling Center Inc in Missouri seeks a licensed nurse (LPN or RN) to deliver psychiatric nursing care across multiple locations. The role includes coordinating medication injection clinics, educating clients and families, and consulting with group homes.

Travel among five catchment areas is required with mileage reimbursement. This position involves documenting per policies, performing metabolic screenings, and supporting both medical and psychiatric services under supervision.

Qualifications

• LPN or RN nursing license required.
• LPN with two years of relevant experience encouraged.
• Valid driver’s license for current state of residence and proof of auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and provide medication injection clinics.
• Educate clients and families on medication usage and side effects.
• Consult with group homes.
• Educate clinicians about medications, side effects, and adverse reactions.
• Order, inventory, and maintain medication storage according to policies and procedures.
• Process insurance prior authorizations for prescribed medications.
• Give PPD tests to new employees and residential care patients as needed.
• Respond to client medication inquiries promptly and effectively.
• Coordinate and administer metabolic screenings including lipid profile with glucose and HgbA1C.
• Perform duties related to medical or psychiatric services as requested by supervisor.
• Travel to Cape Girardeau, Fredericktown, Marble Hill, Perryville, and Ste Genevieve Area.
• Document according to clinical policies and procedures, DMH, CARF, and any other federal or state program per agency standards.

Schedule:

Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm, with one scheduled day per week requiring availability until 6:00pm.

Pay:

• LPN: $24.17 - $26.57 per hour (Depending upon experience)
• RN: $28.82 - $31.22 per hour (Depending upon experience)

Location and Travel:

This position will float among CCC's five Missouri Catchment areas:

• Cape Girardeau
• Fredericktown
• Marble Hill
• Perryville
• Ste Genevieve

The primary work location maybe based in any of these five areas. Travel between location is required, with mileage reimbursement provided for approved work - related travel.

Qualifications:

• LPN or RN Nursing License Required
• LPN looking for two years of relevant experience.
• Valid Drivers License for current state of residence (Missouri or Resident of IL -Illinois License), and proof of continuous current auto insurance.

Job Summary:

Responsible for providing direct therapeutic and consultative psychiatric nursing duties; coordination and provision of medication injection clinics, medication consultation and education to clients and family members, and case consultation for CCC outpatients and area residential care patients.

Job Duties:

1. Coordinate and provide medication injection clinics.
2. Provide education services to clients, family and/or caregivers as to medication usage, side effects and adverse reactions.
3. Provide consultation to Group Homes.
4. Provide education and consultation to clinicians regarding clients' medications, side effects, and adverse reactions.
5. Order, inventory, and maintain medication storage according to policies and procedures.
6. Promptly complete insurance prior authorizations for prescribed medications.
7. Give PPD tests to new employees and residential care patients as needed.
8. Promptly respond to client medication inquiries, needs, problems or side effects in effective manner consistent with practice standards.
9. Coordinate and administer metabolic screenings including testing lipid profile with glucose and HgbA1C in conjunction with Health Care Home as requested.
10. Due to the integration of the primary medical and psychiatric areas of care, any duties related to either medical or psychiatric services within your scope of practice as requested by your supervisor.
11. Travel to Cape Girardeau, Fredericktown, Marble Hill, Perryville, and Ste Genevieve Area.
12. Document according to clinical policies and procedures, DMH, CARF, and any other federal or state program per agency standards.
