Job summary

ExamWorks is seeking a qualified Nurse Practitioner to perform Compensation & Pension (C&P) examinations and Physical Health Assessments for veterans and service members. The NP will review records, conduct focused histories and physicals, and prepare compliant evaluative reports in line with VHA/VBA DMA guidelines.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Active RN and NP licenses required.
• One+ year of nursing/clinical exam experience preferred.
• C&P examination experience preferred.
• Experience with computerized charting and healthcare documentation systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Compensation & Pension (C&P) examinations for veterans and service members.
• Conduct PHAs, reservist annual physicals, DOI examinations, and related evaluations.
• Review medical records, service records, and diagnostics to support assessments.
• Complete evaluative reports within applicable guidelines and timelines.
• Assist with clinical tasks such as blood draws and diagnostic support.
