Job summary

ExamWorks is seeking a Nurse Practitioner in Concord, CA to perform Compensation & Pension examinations, Physical Health Assessments, and related claimant evaluations for veterans and service members. The NP reviews records, conducts focused exams, and produces compliant reports in line with VHA/VBA guidelines.

The role requires an NP license, an RN license, and a Master’s in Nursing; C&P exam experience is preferred. Mobility and the ability to travel within the clinic setting may be required.

Qualifications

• Nurse Practitioner license required and RN license active.
• Master’s degree in Nursing required.
• Compensation & Pension (C&P) examination experience preferred.
• Experience with computerized charting and healthcare documentation systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct C&P examinations for veterans and service members.
• Conduct PHAs, reservist annual physicals, DOI examinations, and related claimant evaluations.
• Review medical/service records and diagnostics to support evaluations and write evaluative reports.
• Assist with blood draws, diagnostic support, and other clinical tasks as needed.
