Job summary

ExamWorks is seeking a Nurse Practitioner in Colorado Springs to conduct Compensation & Pension examinations for veterans and service members. The NP will perform PHAs and DOI examinations, review records, and prepare detailed evaluative reports in line with VHA and VBA guidelines.

The role requires an NP with an RN license, a Master’s degree in Nursing, and strong documentation skills. Experience with C&P exams is preferred; travel is not emphasized.

Qualifications

• RN and NP licenses required.
• Master’s degree in Nursing required.
• C&P examination experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Compensation & Pension (C&P) examinations for veterans and service members.
• Perform Physical Health Assessments (PHAs) and DOI examinations.
• Review medical and service records to support evaluations.
• Complete compliant evaluation reports within timelines.
• Assist with blood draws and diagnostic support when needed.
