Job summary
ExamWorks is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to conduct Compensation & Pension (C&P) examinations, Physical Health Assessments, and related claimant evaluations for veterans and service members. You will review medical records, perform focused histories and physicals, and generate comprehensive evaluative reports in accordance with VHA, VBA, and client guidelines.
You will collaborate with Medical Assistants and leadership to maintain timely, accurate documentation, ensure regulatory compliance,
Qualifications
- RN license active/unrestricted required
- NP license active/unrestricted required
- Master’s degree in Nursing required
- C&P examination experience preferred
- Experience with charting systems preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic interpretation skills
- Ability to work in fast-paced clinical environment
- Confidentiality and regulatory compliance emphasis
Responsibilities
- Conduct C&P examinations for veterans and service members.
- Perform PHAs, DOI examinations, and related claimant evaluations.
- Obtain claimant histories and perform focused physicals.
- Review records and test results to support evaluations.
- Complete compliant reports within submission timelines.
- Assist with blood draws and diagnostic support as needed.
- Collaborate with Medical Assistants and staff to ensure smooth operations.
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and professional documentation.
