Geisinger ConvenientCare urgent care is seeking experienced Nurse Practitioners to join our urgent care teams in northeast, Pennsylvania.

Job Duties

Our clinicians diagnose and treat common medical problems including sore throats, earaches, sinus infections, flu, urinary tract infections, and more. Routine health exams, immunizations, screenings, and wellness services are also provided.

What ConvenientCare Offers

• $10k recruitment incentive for new hires.
• Attractive schedule:

Office Hours

Monday - Friday 8:45 am – 8:15 pm
Saturday & Sunday 7:45 am – 6:15 pm

• 14 rotating shifts/month.
• Work every other weekend.
• No overnight shifts, and no mandated additional shifts.
• Call – approximately six nights per year.
• No direct patient call – for critical lab, CT, etc.
• Six observed holidays: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, New Year’s Day.
• Work autonomously with limited administrative burden.

Experience Requirements

Must have at least six months of advanced practitioner experience in primary care, emergency medicine, urgent care, or critical care, and be able to treat patients from age one and older.

Position Details

Work collaboratively with physicians, hold an approved Nurse Practitioner certification, and be eligible for licensure in Pennsylvania.
