Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a qualified clinician to assess, diagnose, plan, and implement medical care for patients in a high-acuity urgent care setting in California. You will collaborate with physicians, deliver direct patient care, educate patients and families, and ensure smooth transitions of care.

You will develop interdisciplinary plans of care that integrate medical, psychological, and social factors. Requirements include ACLS and BLS, national certification, 1–2 years ER experience, and licensure

Job description

Assess, diagnose, plan, and implement medical care for patients in a busy, high-acuity urgent care setting
Collaborate with physicians
Provide direct patient care, patient/family education, and transitions of care
Deliver holistic and individualized care to patients
Develop, implement, and manage interdisciplinary plans of care incorporating psychological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic, and lifestyle factors
Foster collaborative relationships with patients, families/support groups, physicians, and healthcare providers
Communicate in a timely and effective manner
Adhere to clinic policies, industry standards, best practices, applicable laws, regulations, and codes
Engage in continuous professional growth and development
Work variable days, rotating weekends, and 8-hour shifts on a per diem/casual schedule

Requirements

• Medical knowledge and skills applicable to perform within the scope of practice
• Verbal and written communication skills for regular contact with patients, physicians, and staff
• Computer data entry skills for Electronic Health Record patient information
• Organizational skills
• Ability to work with others in a flexible, cooperative manner
• Ability to handle varying procedures and interruptions
• ACLS required

• Must function within the full scope of licensure
• Must follow California-regulated ambulatory care and inpatient standardized procedures, protocols, policies, and procedures
