Job summary

Mercy-GoHealth Urgent Care is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to deliver high-quality patient care in our state-of-the-art urgent care centers. You will treat both pediatric and adult patients and perform minor procedures such as sutures, casts and splints.

You will conduct preliminary reads on EKGs and X-rays, collaborate with Radiology Techs, Medical Assistants and other team members, and use Epic EMR to support integrated patient care.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 months of full-time experience in an Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine setting.
• Experience treating both pediatric and adult patient populations.
• Comfortable with minor procedures including sutures, casts and splints.
• Preliminary reads on EKGs and X-rays.
• Physician Assistants: Master’s degree and NCCPA Certification required; Nurse Practitioners: Master’s degree and appropriate certification (AANC or AANP) required.
