KOPA, Inc. is seeking a Nurse Practitioner for Avante at Inverness in Florida to diagnose and treat health conditions, educate residents, and promote preventive care in a skilled nursing setting. You will work with a care team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

The role requires an active NP license, supervisory experience, and a focus on primary, acute, and chronic care. You’ll lead, mentor, and coordinate care while supporting ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Active NP license required.
• Minimum 1 year supervisory experience in a skilled nursing facility.
• Experience in primary, acute and chronic care.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to ongoing clinical education.

Responsibilities

• Examine patients and review medical records.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests.
• Diagnose health conditions and illnesses.
• Propose treatments for chronic and infectious diseases.
• Prescribe medications.
• Maintain accurate records and schedules.
• Educate patients and families on diseases and prevention.
• Lead team meetings and mentor NPs.
• Coordinate onboarding and training of new staff.
• Coordinate care with facility leadership.
• Provide coverage at other Florida facilities when needed.
