Job summary

KOPA, Inc. is seeking a Nurse Practitioner for the Avante at Melbourne facility in Florida. The NP will diagnose, treat, and educate patients, lead a care team, and coordinate with facility leadership to ensure high-quality outcomes.

The role requires an active NP license, experience in primary/acute/chronic care, and a strong emphasis on collaboration and clinical excellence. In-state travel and coverage may be required.

Qualifications

• Active Florida NP license is required.
• Experience in skilled nursing facilities preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Experience across primary, acute, and chronic care.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Examine patients and their medical records.
• Order and study diagnostic tests (blood tests, X-rays, etc.).
• Diagnose health conditions and illnesses.
• Prescribe medications and plan treatments.
• Maintain accurate records and patient education.
• Supervise and mentor NP team and lead meetings.
• Provide coverage at other facilities as needed.
