Job summary

KOPA, Inc. is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to diagnose and treat residents at Avante Inverness in Florida. You’ll provide advanced clinical care, order tests, prescribe medications, educate patients and families, and oversee NP staff.

We value teamwork, strong communication, and a commitment to preventive care. Active Florida NP license and minimum 1 year supervisory experience in a skilled nursing setting are required. Occasional travel within Florida may be needed.

Qualifications

• Proven NP with at least 1 year supervisory experience in a skilled nursing facility.
• Licensed Nurse Practitioner in Florida.
• Strong communication and teaching skills.
• Knowledge of health care regulations.
• Commitment to patient-centered care.
• Willingness to cover multiple facilities as needed.

Responsibilities

• Examine patients and their medical records.
• Order and study diagnostic tests (blood tests, X-ray etc.).
• Diagnose health conditions and illnesses.
• Prescribe medications and maintain accurate records.
• Educate patients and families on diseases, prevention and treatments.
• Oversee NP staff and mentor teammates.
• Provide coverage at other Florida facilities as needed.
