KOPA, Inc. seeks a Nurse Practitioner to diagnose and treat health conditions at Avante at Leesburg, FL. You will oversee patient care, coordinate with a healthcare team, and contribute to disease prevention and patient education in a skilled nursing facility setting.

The role requires leadership, collaboration, and a commitment to continuous professional development, with responsibilities spanning clinical care, documentation, and staff mentoring.

Qualifications

Valid nurse practitioner license and current credentials.
Minimum 1 year supervisory experience in a skilled nursing facility.
Experience in primary, acute, and chronic care.

Responsibilities

Examine patients and their medical records.
Order and study diagnostic tests.
Diagnose health conditions and illnesses.
Prescribe medications.
Maintain accurate records and schedules.
Educate patients and families on health conditions and medications.
Oversee patients’ overall health.
Lead team meetings.
Supervise and mentor a team of nurse practitioners.
Provide coverage at other Florida facilities when needed (occasional travel).
