Job summary

Rendr is seeking a licensed NYS Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) to join our primary care team in New York City. You will perform physical exams, order labs, document health histories, and develop treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians across multiple offices.

This role requires DEA, BLS/ACLS, and bilingual English-Chinese capabilities; experience in primary care is preferred. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for professional growth within a diverse

Qualifications

• Active NYS APN license required.
• DEA registration required.
• BLS/ACLS certification required.
• Previous experience in primary care preferred.
• Bilingual English and Chinese required.

Responsibilities

• In collaboration with supervising physician, perform physical examinations and patient assessments to manage a range of patient health and wellness issues.
• Order laboratory and diagnostic procedures as needed.
• Obtain patient medical histories and document pertinent health history data and results of exam according to established standards.
• Make recommendations for appropriate patient treatment plans based on assessment of needs.
• Initiates treatment by prescribing medication, ordering diagnostic tests, exams, and procedures.
• Reviews lab results and propose plan of action according to results.
• Coordinate care and perform routine health maintenance for established and new patients.
• Provide preventive health services by counseling and educating patients and families.
• Provide care for women's health which includes performing pap smears and other related tasks.
• Assist in quality management.
