Job summary

Rendr is seeking a radiology-focused clinician (RN/NP/PA) to join our NYC-area medical group. The role involves comprehensive radiologic assessments, collaborative care planning with radiologists and technologists, and educating patients about procedures and post-care.

You will document findings and stay current with evolving radiologic practices. We value diversity and strive for inclusive, high-quality care across more than 100 offices in the New York area.

Qualifications

• Radiology experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive radiology patient assessments, review histories, and order additional tests as needed.
• Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and other clinicians to implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families about radiologic procedures, outcomes, and post-procedure care.
• Monitor and document patient progress in electronic health records.
• Pursue ongoing professional development and stay current with radiologic technologies and protocols.
• Contribute to policies and procedures to enhance radiology services and outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards of practice.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients undergoing radiologic procedures, including reviewing medical histories, performing physical examinations, and requesting additional diagnostic tests when necessary.
• Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans, ensuring that patients receive the highest standard of care.
• Educate patients and their families about radiologic procedures, expected outcomes, and post-procedure care, fostering a supportive and informative environment.
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress, document all findings and updating electronic health records accurately and promptly.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and stay current with advancements in radiologic technology and treatment protocols.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that enhance radiology services and improve patient outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards of practice.

Qualifications

• Current NYS RN and NP or PA license required.
• DEA and BLS/ACLS certification required.
• Previous experience in Radiology preferred.
• CCTA experience is a plus not required.
