Job summary

American Family Care is seeking a Per-Diem Nurse Practitioner to join our Granada Hills team capable of treating patients of all ages and performing minor procedures in an urgent care setting.

This position requires an unrestricted California medical license, DEA certificate, FNP or ENP certification, and board certification (AANP/ANCC). At least one year in ER/urgent care or primary care is preferred, with day/evening/weekend availability.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year ER/urgent care or primary care experience.
• Ability to treat patients of all ages and perform minor procedures.

Responsibilities

Our state-of-the-art Urgent Care centers focus on the episodic treatment of acute illnesses and injuries on a walk-in basis seven days a week with lab and x-rays on-site. We are seeking a Per-Diem Nurse Practitioner to join our Team in Granada Hills, California.

• Competitive Pay. Hourly Rate: $70-$82 with preapproved overtime pay.
• Per-Diem requirement: Picking up 2-3 shifts per month minimum.
• Additional bi-weekly bonuses based on patient volume thresholds.

What does AFC Urgent Care require?

• An unrestricted medical license in California

• At least one year’s experience in an ER, Urgent Care or Primary Care setting
• Able to treat patients of all ages and be comfortable with minor procedures (e.g., suturing lacerations, draining abscesses, etc.)
• Availability to work: day, evening, and weekend shifts.

Compensation: $70.00 - $82.00 per hour
