Job summary

AFC Urgent Care is seeking a Per-Diem Nurse Practitioner to join our Granada Hills, California team. Our centers offer walk-in access for acute illnesses and injuries with on-site lab and X-ray, seven days a week.

Requirements include an unrestricted California medical license, a DEA certificate, and FNP or ENP board certification (AANP or ANCC). Must have at least one year of ER/urgent care or primary care experience and be able to perform minor procedures.

Qualifications

• Unrestricted California medical license required.
• DEA certificate required.
• FNP or ENP certification, board certified (AANP/ANCC).
• Minimum 1 year of ER/urgent care/primary care experience.
• Able to perform minor procedures (suturing, draining abscesses).
• Shifts include day, evening, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in ER/urgent care settings during shifts.
• Perform minor procedures (suturing, draining abscesses).
• Collaborate with care teams and utilize on-site lab/X-ray as needed.
• Maintain licensure and comply with clinic policies.
