Expect a 40-hour work week in a supportive, patient-focused environment. The role requires a master's-level NP or PA program, active licensure, 3+ years of primary care experience, and current CPR/BLS.

Qualifications

• Completed master's degree level Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program from an accredited college/university.
• Minimum three (3) years primary care practice experience.
• Active and unrestricted licensure.
• Current CPR (BLS) certification or must be obtained within 60 days of hire.
• NPI & DEA registration.
• Current National Board Certification.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, treat, and educate patients in a clinic setting.
• Practice under physician collaboration within licensure scope.
• Perform testing, refer to physicians as needed, and write prescriptions.
• Maintain documentation and administrative procedures per protocols.

This position will focus on prevention, wellness, and maintenance of health in partnership with patients. This will be accomplished by evaluating, treating, and educating patients in a clinic setting. Under the collaboration of a physician, performs professional medical work in the examination, diagnosis and treatment of patients according to statutory limitations. Examines and diagnoses patients and develops treatment plans. Performs testing, refers to physicians as needed, writes prescriptions, and performs administrative procedures within their scope and licensure of expertise, protocols, and available equipment. Job Requirements:

• Ability to work independently
• Working with an Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
• Active and unrestricted applicable licensure
• Current CPR (BLS) certification or must be obtained within 60 days of hire

• May be required to obtain and maintain a valid DOT Medical Examiner Certification, depending on job responsibilities or location
