Job summary

QuadMed is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our Hampton, VA, clinic within the Hampton City School District. The position is outpatient with a preventative medicine focus and a 40-hour work week.

Candidates must have a master's degree in nursing or physician assisting, be board-certified, and hold active licensure to practice in Virginia. Experience in primary care, ability to work independently, and proficiency with an EMR system (Epic) are required.

Qualifications

• Completed master's degree level Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program from an accredited college/university.
• Minimum three (3) years primary care practice experience
• Ability to work independently
• Working with an Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
• Active and unrestricted applicable licensure
• Current CPR (BLS) certification or must be obtained within 60 days of hire
• NPI & DEA
• Current National Board Certification

Job Requirements

• Completed master's degree level Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program from an accredited college/university
• Minimum three (3) years primary care practice experience
• Ability to work independently
• Working with an Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
• Active and unrestricted applicable licensure
• Current CPR (BLS) certification or must be obtained within 60 days of hire
• NPI & DEA
• Current National Board Certification
• May be required to obtain and maintain a valid DOT Medical Examiner Certification, depending on job responsibilities or location
