Job summary

Senior PsychCare is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Oklahoma to join a collaborative geriatric behavioral health team. You will conduct cognitive assessments, manage medications, and coordinate with nursing home staff while working with psychiatrists and other specialists.

The role offers flexibility with full-time or part-time options, telehealth as needed, and generous benefits. Travel locally is expected as part of patient care in long-term care facilities.

Qualifications

• Licensed NP or PA in Oklahoma.
• Psychiatric/mental health experience required.
• Geriatric population experience strongly preferred.
• Spanish bilingual is a plus.
• Must have a valid driver's license and be comfortable traveling locally.

Responsibilities

• Conduct cognitive and emotional assessments to set/manage treatment plans.
• Manage psychotropic medication and gradual dose reductions.
• Collaborate with nursing home staff and SPC's behavioral health team.
• Participate in treatment team meetings (in-person and virtual).
• Deliver care both in-person and via telehealth when appropriate.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in our EHR system.
