Job summary

Senior PsychCare is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to deliver high-quality mental health care for residents in long-term care facilities, including State Veterans Homes. The role supports psychiatric team collaboration, offers flexibility, and provides access to clinical mentorship from experienced psychiatrists.

Qualifications

• Licensed NP or PA in Oklahoma.
• Psychiatric/mental health experience required.
• Geriatric population experience preferred.
• Spanish bilingual is a plus.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be comfortable traveling locally.
• Adaptive, flexible, and committed to team-based care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct cognitive and emotional assessments to set and manage treatment plans.
• Manage psychotropic medications and gradual dose reductions.
• Collaborate with nursing home staff and SPC’s behavioral health team.
• Participate in treatment team meetings (in-person and virtual).
• Deliver care both in-person and via telehealth when appropriate.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in our EHR system.
