Job summary

Senior PsychCare is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide psychiatric care for residents in long-term care and state veteran homes. Flexible full-time or part-time roles include in-person and telehealth delivery, with a collaborative, mission-driven team support.

You will assess mental health needs, manage medications, and work with medical and care staff to ensure comprehensive, compassionate treatment. Travel locally is required.

Qualifications

• Licensed NP or PA in Oklahoma required.
• Psychiatric/mental health experience required.
• Geriatric population experience strongly preferred.
• Spanish bilingual is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally.
• Adaptive, flexible and team-based care mindset.

Responsibilities

• Conduct cognitive and emotional assessments to set/manage treatment plans.
• Manage psychotropic medications and gradual dose reductions.
• Collaborate with nursing home staff and SPC's behavioral health team.
• Participate in treatment team meetings (in-person and virtual).
• Deliver care in-person and via telehealth; maintain accurate documentation in EHR.

What You’ll Do

Qualifications
