Job summary

Senior PsychCare is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Ardmore, OK to join a mission-driven behavioral health team caring for residents in long-term care facilities and State Veterans Homes. The role supports cognitive and emotional assessments, medication management, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team; opportunities exist for in-person and telehealth care.

Required is Oklahoma licensure and psychiatric/geriatric experience, with flexible scheduling and training

Qualifications

• Licensed NP or PA in Oklahoma
• Psychiatric/mental health experience required
• Experience with geriatric populations strongly preferred
• Spanish bilingual is a plus
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be comfortable traveling locally
• Adaptive, flexible, and committed to team-based care

Responsibilities

• Conduct cognitive and emotional assessments to set/manage treatment plans
• Manage psychotropic medication and gradual dose reductions
• Collaborate with nursing home staff and SPC’s behavioral health team
• Participate in treatment team meetings (in-person and virtual)
• Deliver care both in-person and via telehealth when appropriate
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in our EHR system
