Software Placement Group (SPG) seeks an experienced Oncology Nurse Practitioner for outpatient clinics in Bethesda and Glen Burnie, MD. The role emphasizes precision oncology and theranostics, with a Monday–Friday schedule and close collaboration with physician founders.

Location: Bethesda & Glen Burnie, Maryland | Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday, Outpatient | Compensation: $150,000–$165,000+ depending on experience

Overview

A physician-founded, growing network of outpatient clinics specializing in precision oncology, theranostics, and innovative cancer treatments is seeking an experienced Oncology Nurse Practitioner. This role offers the chance to bring strong oncology expertise into an innovative and expanding area of cancer care, working closely with physicians and building meaningful patient relationships.

What you'll do

• Work a Monday–Friday outpatient schedule with predictable clinic hours
• Carry no routine inpatient responsibilities
• Collaborate closely with experienced Nuclear Medicine Physicians and physician founders
• Receive training in theranostics and radiopharmaceutical therapy
• Follow patients throughout their treatment journey
• Spend meaningful time with patients and their families
• Work with a specialized, collaborative clinical team
• Gain exposure to precision oncology and emerging cancer therapies
• Help shape a growing clinical program as the organization expands
• Regularly work between the Bethesda and Glen Burnie, Maryland locations

Required qualifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner credentials and Maryland licensure
• 5+ years of outpatient oncology NP experience
• Strong solid-tumor oncology experience
• Experience independently assessing and managing oncology patients
• Comfortable reviewing labs, imaging, treatment response, and treatment plans
• Experience managing treatment-related symptoms and toxicities
• Strong clinical judgment and critical-thinking skills
• Excellent patient and family communication skills
• Comfortable collaborating closely with physicians
• Ability to regularly work between the Bethesda and Glen Burnie locations
