Job summary

Main Line Health in Media, PA is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for the Vascular Specialists Group. You will use your advanced practice degree to enhance patient care, work closely with attending physicians and the health care team, and lead quality initiatives to improve outcomes.

This role offers tuition reimbursement up to 6,000 per year and generous paid time off, with a full-time schedule, 40 hours per week, weekdays.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
• MSN required.
• Licensed by the Pennsylvania State Board for NP or PA licensure.
• Provider BLS required; ACLS may be required; PALS may be required.
• Minimum 2 years licensed clinical NP/PA experience; 2 years nursing in surgery preferred; 1 year vascular experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced practitioner care for vascular patients in collaboration with physicians and residents.
• Diagnose and manage medical conditions in the vascular specialty in partnership with the care team.
• Lead quality and evidence-based care initiatives to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Assist with continuing education and credentialing processes as part of the medical staff.

Position:

Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - Vascular Specialists

Shift:

Full Time, 40 hours/week. 4-10 hour shifts Monday - Friday. No Weekends or Holiday's

Experience:

• 1. 2 years of licensed, clinical Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant experience required.
• 2. Minimum of 2 years Nursing experience in surgery preferred.
• 3. 1-year Vascular experience preferred.

Education:

• 1. Completion of a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program required.
• 2. MSN Required.

Licensures/Certifications:

• 1. Licensed by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing Examiners as a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner or Licensed Physician Assistant.
• 2. Provider BLS (American Heart Assoc/American Red Cross) required.
• 3. Require ACLS certification.
• 4. May require PALS (pediatric advanced life support).
• 5. Successful completion of the MLH credentialing process through the Medical Staff office, with temporary or permanent privileges approved.
