Job summary

LECOM Health and Wellness Center is seeking a Physician Assistant (PA-C) or Nurse Practitioner (CRNP) to join our Vascular Surgery team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to provide comprehensive care to patients with vascular conditions in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient evaluations, including histories and physicals.
• Assist in developing and managing treatment plans.

• Assist in surgical procedures and/or clinical management of vascular patients.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests.
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams.

Vascular Surgery Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner (APP)

LECOM Health is seeking a Physician Assistant (PA-C) or Nurse Practitioner (CRNP) to join our growing Vascular Surgery team. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside experienced physicians in a collaborative, patient-focused environment.

Position Summary

The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) will support the Vascular Surgery team in both inpatient and outpatient settings, providing high-quality, comprehensive care to patients with vascular conditions.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform patient evaluations, including histories and physicals
• Assist in developing and managing treatment plans
• Provide pre-operative and post-operative care
• Assist in surgical procedures (PA) and/or clinical management of vascular patients
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and post-care needs

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program
• Current Pennsylvania licensure (or eligibility)
• National certification required (PA-C or CRNP)
• Experience in vascular surgery, surgical services, or acute care preferred
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged standing during procedures.
