Job summary

Premise Health is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner to provide care to client employees at our Seattle Health Center. The role involves 32 hours per week, with a schedule Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday from 7:00am–4:00pm.

You will conduct exams, develop care plans, educate patients, order tests, collaborate with the care team, and maintain accurate records. A MSN and NP licensure with prescriptive authority are required, along with national certification and DEA if applicable.

Qualifications

  • Must hold RN and NP licenses with state prescriptive authority where applicable.
  • Active Federal DEA license (as required).
  • National certification required (ANCC or AANP).
  • Master’s in Nursing (MSN).
  • 3+ years of NP clinical experience in ambulatory, occupational health, family practice or ED.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; ACLS may be required by contract.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct physical exams and preventive health measures per guidelines.
  • Perform injections, suturing, wound care, and infection management.
  • Develop patient care plans and ensure continuity of care.
  • Educate patients on treatment plans and health maintenance.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests to assess clinical conditions.
  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams for comprehensive care.
  • Prescribe or recommend treatments, including medications and therapies.
  • Refer patients to specialists or physicians as needed.
  • Maintain patient health records with accurate documentation.
  • Educate and coach nursing staff on best practices.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Educate and coach nursing staff on best practices

What You’ll Bring
  • Maintains state RN licenses/certificates to practice
  • Maintains Nurse Practitioner licenses/certificates to practice
  • Maintains State Prescriptive Authority (if applicable)
  • Federal DEA license (matching each state of practice as applicable)
  • State Narcotic/Controlled Substance license if required in your state
  • Current national certification (ANCC or AANP required)
  • Master’s Degree in Science of Nursing
  • Current certification with hands-on training in Basic Life Support (BLS); Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) may be required based on contract scope of services
  • At least three years of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner in an ambulatory care, occupational health, family practice or emergency department setting

Premise provides its reasonable and genuinely expected range of compensation for this job of $130,400.00 - $163,000.00 annually. A number of factors will influence the rate offered for this position, including your experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other factors.

For individuals living in Washington or Colorado: Premise offers paid time off benefits. Employees will earn 0.0769 hours of paid time off per actual hours worked or based on the standard schedule, per pay period, and will receive 10 paid holidays or an equivalent bank of hours aligned to schedule throughout the calendar year. Paid sick leave is satisfied by the paid time off accrual, detailed above. This posting is anticipated to close within 90 days of 07/15/2026.
