Job summary

Premise Health in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Full Time Nurse Practitioner to provide occupational health services for employees at an onsite airport health center. The schedule offers four 10-hour shifts or three 12-hour shifts plus a weekly 4-hour evening shift, with every other weekend coverage.

You will conduct exams, administer injections, manage wound care, develop care plans, and educate patients while collaborating with physicians and health teams to ensure high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Must hold RN license and NP license to practice.
• Must have State Prescriptive Authority (if applicable).
• Federal DEA license (matching each state of practice).
• Current national certification (ANCC or AANP).
• Master’s degree in nursing required; if degree not Nursing, transcripts required.
• BLS certification; ACLS may be required based on contract scope.

Responsibilities

• Conducts physical exams and preventive health measures per guidelines.
• Performs injections, suturing, wound care, and infection management.
• Develops patient care plans and ensures continuity of care.
• Educates patients on treatment plans and health maintenance.
• Orders and interprets diagnostic tests; assess clinical conditions.
• Collaborates with physicians and healthcare teams for comprehensive care.
• Prescribes or recommends treatments and therapies.
• Refer patients to specialists as needed.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient health records.
• Educates and coaches nursing staff on best practices.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Full Time Nurse Practitioner, you'll provide care to client employees in our Health Center located in Atlanta, GA.

• Provide occupational health services to employees in an onsite airport health center, including employee assessments, triage, and first aid.
• Preferred background in Occupational Health, ER or Urgent Care setting.
• Schedule: Full-time schedule with flexibility to work either four 10-hour shifts or three 12-hour shifts, plus one 4-hour evening shift each week. Evening shifts are typically 3:00 PM–7:00 PM, with every other weekend coverage required. Schedule details are flexible and can be discussed with the hiring team.

What You’ll Do

• Educates patients on treatment plans, health maintenance, and development
• Orders and interprets diagnostic tests to assess clinical conditions

• Prescribes or recommends treatments, including medications and therapies
• Refers patients to specialists or physicians as needed
• Maintains patient health records ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation and records
• Educates and coaches nursing staff on best practices
• Performs other duties as assigned

What You’ll Bring

• Maintains state RN licenses/certificates to practice
• Maintains Nurse Practitioner licenses/certificates to practice
• Maintains State Prescriptive Authority (if applicable)
• Federal DEA license (matching each state of practice as applicable)
• Current national certification (ANCC or AANP required)
• Master’s Degree in Science of Nursing (if Master Degree in Science certificate does not state Nursing on it then a copy of transcripts is required)
• Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of services
• At least three years of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner in an ambulatory care, occupational health, family practice or emergency department setting
