Wellpath is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to provide comprehensive medical services to incarcerated patients under supervision of the Site Medical Director. You will ensure documentation and collaborate with site physicians to deliver timely care in a corrections setting.

Ideal candidates hold an accredited NP program degree, state NP licensure, CPR, and prior medical/surgical or emergency/trauma experience. Flexible scheduling may be required to cover shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Advanced degree in an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• Current NP licensure in the state of employment and CPR certification preferred.

Responsabilités

• Conducts routine and emergency medical care for inmates under supervision.
• Document care in SOAP format and coordinate with the Medical Director.
• Ensure confidentiality and privacy for incarcerated patients.
• Communicate scheduling changes and arrange coverage when needed.
• Collaborate with physicians to provide comprehensive patient care.
