Wellpath is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to provide comprehensive medical care to incarcerated patients under supervision at a correctional facility. You will conduct examinations, chronic care clinics, and infirmary rounds while ensuring high-quality documentation and adherence to formulary guidelines.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
• Advanced degree in an approved Nurse Practitioner program.
• Must have current NP license in the state of employment and CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provides medical care to inmates, including exams, chronic care, and infirmary rounds.
• Maintains SOAP notes documentation and follows formulary guidelines.
• Responds to emergencies and coordinates with site medical leadership for care plans.
