Job summary

TeamHealth is seeking a quality-driven nurse practitioner or physician assistant to join our post-acute care team in Thomasville, North Carolina. This full-time opportunity (5 days/week) rounds in skilled nursing facilities, with excellent support and training, autonomy, and earning potential.

Compensation is fee for service with an estimated range of $126,208 - $149,450 annually and no cap on productivity income potential.

Qualifications

• NP or PA license (NC) and DEA required.
• Post-acute, acute, ED, or clinic exp preferred; new grads welcome.
• Strong clinical foundation and knowledge of healthcare regulatory standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Collaborative, team-oriented approach.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments including histories and exams.
• Develop and adjust individualized care plans based on patient needs.
• Monitor progress and coordinate care to optimize outcomes.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff and other clinicians.
• Educate patients and families on health management and prevention.
• Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with regulations.
