Job summary

TeamHealth is seeking a quality-driven nurse practitioner or physician assistant to join our post-acute care team in Rutherfordton, North Carolina. This is a full-time opportunity with rounding in skilled nursing facilities, supported by a robust onboarding program and leadership mentorship to ensure a smooth transition into clinical practice.

You will work with an experienced multidisciplinary team, delivering high-quality care to a diverse patient population.

Qualifications

• NP or PA license in North Carolina and DEA registration.
• Experience in post-acute, acute, ED, or clinic settings preferred; new grads welcome.
• Strong clinical foundation and knowledge of healthcare regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments.
• Develop, implement, and adjust individualized care plans.
• Monitor progress and coordinate care to optimize outcomes.
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals in a team approach.
• Educate patients and families on health management and preventive strategies.
• Maintain accurate, timely medical records in compliance with regulations.
