Wellpath in Arkansas is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to provide medical care to incarcerated patients within a correctional facility. You will work under the Site Medical Director and physicians, conducting exams, managing chronic conditions, and ensuring accurate documentation in compliance with state guidelines.

You will contribute to a secure, patient-centered care environment, collaborate with a dedicated team, and benefit from ongoing training and growth opportunities.

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program required.
• Advanced degree in a Nurse Practitioner program.
• Current NP licensure in the state of employment and CPR certification required.

Responsabilidades

• Provides medical care to inmates, including conducting exams, chronic care clinics, and infirmary rounds.
• Maintains progress notes in SOAP format and adheres to formulary guidelines.
• Responds to emergencies and makes decisions regarding non-formulary drugs or off-site referrals.
• Supports policies for admission, transfer, and specialty referrals.
• Maintains confidentiality and participates in facility committees as requested.
