Job summary
Colorado Coalition for the Homeless is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to deliver high-quality primary care to individuals experiencing homelessness in the Denver metro area. The role involves working across multiple clinics, including Recuperative Care Center and mobile/ satellite sites, with a schedule that includes one weekend day and 2–3 days per week at various programs.
Ideal candidates bring 2+ years of clinical practice, a passion for health equity, and experience
Qualifications
- Master's or Doctorate in Nursing for NP or PA degree requirements.
- Current Colorado license/ability to obtain Advanced Practice Nurse licensure or PA licensure.
- Certification as Nurse Practitioner by ANCC/AANP or PA-C certification; current DEA licensure.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct, high-quality primary medical care to people experiencing homelessness.
- Exhibit a positive attitude and commitment to social justice in patient care.
- Utilize motivational interviewing, harm reduction, and trauma-informed care principles.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure comprehensive care.
- Perform other job duties as assigned.
