Job summary

Providence Community Health Centers seeks a Nurse Practitioner to care for patients experiencing homelessness in a new, welcoming clinic near Providence's homeless services hub. You will work with physicians and other staff to improve efficiency and the quality of care, following RI laws and standards of care.

Required are RN licensure and NP certification in Primary Care with prescriptive privileges in Rhode Island, plus at least 2 years in community health or ambulatory care.

Qualifications

• RN licensure and NP certification in Primary Care (Family or Internal Medicine) in Rhode Island.
• Prescriptive privileges in Rhode Island required.
• 2 years of community health or ambulatory care experience.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with health center staff and physicians to make health care delivery more efficient and comprehensive.
• Provide care in the new PCHC Broad Street clinic near Rhode Island's largest homeless services center.
• Adhere to Rhode Island laws and standards of care.

Education

RN and Nurse Practitioner training program in accredited college or university
