Job summary
HealthDrive is dedicated to delivering on-site primary care for residents in long-term care and skilled nursing facilities. The Nurse Practitioner will diagnose and treat conditions, perform physical exams, interpret labs, and oversee patient health with strong collaboration among staff.
The APRN will also benefit from a 3-week paid training program with mentorship to prepare for success in independent patient care.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in nursing and NP licensure required.
- Board certification and DEA license required.
- Ability to work independently and with on-site staff.
- Strong communication with geriatric/Medicare populations.
Responsibilities
- Provide primary, post-acute and preventative care for residents.
- Order and study diagnostic tests (lab work, imaging).
- Diagnose health conditions and illnesses.
- Propose treatments for chronic and infectious diseases.
- Prescribe medications and maintain records.
- Inform patients about health conditions and medications.
- Oversee patients’ overall health.
