Job summary

Kaleida Health's Buffalo General Medical Center seeks a lifelong learner to join the Critical Care APP team. You will practice as an NP in collaboration with a physician, using written protocols to diagnose and treat. Onsite, full-time with rotating shifts, including nights.

Required are an NP degree from an accredited program, NY RN and NP licenses, and NYS NP certification. BLS/ACLS and DEA or DEA eligibility are also required; ICU experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Completion of masters, post-masters or doctorate NP program accredited by CCNE or ACEN.
• Current active RN and NP license in NYS required.
• National NP certification required.

Responsibilities

• Practice of Advanced Practice Provider/Nurse Practitioner in collaboration with a licensed physician.
• Adheres to Kaleida policies and standards of practice.
• May include diagnosis and treatment within a specialty with written practice agreement and protocols.
