Job summary

Kaleida Health's Buffalo General Medical Center in Buffalo, NY seeks a Nurse Practitioner (ANP/FNP) to join the Critical Care APPs. The role requires strong collaboration with physicians, performing diagnoses and therapies within ICU settings, under approved practice agreements.

Education includes a CCNE/ACEN‑accredited NP program with NYS RN and NP licenses, BLS/ACLS, and DEA or eligibility. Two years of clinical nursing experience and NP/ RN ICU experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Masters, post-masters or doctorate NP program CCNE/ACEN accredited.
• Active NY RN and NP licenses required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• DEA or DEA eligible; collaboration with physician required.
• At least 2 years of clinical nursing experience; 1 year as NP or 2 years RN in ICU/critical care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide NP scope including diagnosis and treatment under physician collaboration.
• Adhere to Kaleida policies and practice protocols.
• Collaborate with Critical Care APPs at Buffalo General Medical Center in ICU settings.
