Thundermist Health Center is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to provide walk-in and same-day medical care across multiple Rhode Island locations. You will treat acute illnesses, perform point-of-care testing, wound care, and minor procedures as an autonomous provider.

The role emphasizes health equity and community health, with supervision of NP students and collaboration with the care team. This full-time opportunity supports diverse populations.

Qualifications

• Active Rhode Island RN and NP licensure.
• ANA certification in family medicine, internal medicine, women's health, or pediatrics.
• Commitment to ongoing CEU and professional development.
• Exceptional communication skills and medical terminology knowledge.
• Commitment to patient-centered, high-quality care for diverse populations.

Responsabilités

• Provide comprehensive clinical care for walk-in and same-day patients.
• Perform point-of-care testing and minor procedures.
• Triage and determine level of care and follow-up.
• Maintain accurate patient records with documentation.
• Mentor NP students as assigned.
