Job summary
Food Management Search, Inc. is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner to deliver comprehensive primary care in the Greater Sacramento area. The role involves evaluations, diagnoses, prescribing, and patient education within a community health center setting.
The ideal candidate has an NP license in California, NP board certification, DEA and BLS, plus 1–2 years of clinical experience, preferably with underserved populations. Relocation assistance available and a Monday–Friday schedule.
Qualifications
- Active California RN and NP license.
- Current NP board certification.
- Current DEA certification.
- Current BLS certification.
- 1–2 years of clinical experience preferred, especially in community health or underserved populations.
- Bilingual in English and Russian, Farsi, Pashto/Pushto, or Spanish preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, including history and physical examinations.
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions.
- Order and interpret laboratory tests, imaging, and other diagnostics.
- Prescribe medications and therapeutic interventions within scope of practice.
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with the Medical Director.
- Monitor patient progress and modify care plans as appropriate.
- Initiate emergency procedures when clinically indicated.
- Provide preventive care, health education, and counseling services.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation per agency standards.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated, high-quality care.
