Job summary

TeamHealth is seeking a full-time PMHNP or Psych PA-C to provide psychiatric care for older adults across Texas, with no nights or weekends. The role features on-site patient care and remote documentation, Monday–Friday.

Responsibilities include evaluations, diagnoses, medication management, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams. Coverage includes Fredericksburg, Kerrville, Boerne, and Jordanton, with strong benefits and ongoing support.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Texas PMHNP-C or Psych PA-C license.
• Active DEA license or willingness to obtain.
• At least 6 months of PMHNP or Psych PA experience.
• Experience with older adults or post-acute care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and mental status examinations.
• Diagnose and treat psychiatric, behavioral, and neurocognitive disorders in older adults.
• Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications.
• Evaluate behavioral and safety concerns.
• Provide brief interventions and behavioral management.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams across care settings.

Role Overview

Full-time (5 days per week) within Monday - Friday.

No nights or weekends.

Compensation and Benefits

Estimated compensation range of $153,046 - $181,655 annually with no cap on productivity income.

Base salary plus productivity, W2 position with full benefits (medical, dental, vision, PTO, 401k).
