Job summary

TeamHealth is seeking a clinician-led Psychiatric-Mental Health provider to deliver comprehensive geriatric mental health care in post-acute and long-term care settings. The role supports autonomy, flexible scheduling, and clinical collaboration across SNF, LTC, ALF, and IRF environments.

The position is full-time (3.5 days/week) with no nights or weekends, onsite patient care and remote documentation, and backend clinical support.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted New York license as a PMHNP-C or Psych PA-C.
• Active DEA license or willingness to obtain.
• All experience levels as PMHNP or Psych PA welcome to apply.
• Experience with older adults or post-acute care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations, diagnostic assessments, and mental status examinations.
• Diagnose and treat psychiatric, behavioral, and neurocognitive disorders in older adults.
• Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications.
• Evaluate behavioral and safety concerns.
• Provide brief interventions and behavioral management.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams across care settings.

Compensation and Benefits

• Estimated compensation range of $120,000 - $160,000 annually with no cap on productivity income.
