Job summary

National Church Residences is seeking a Nurse Practitioner – Advance Practice to join our Senior Services team. Under the Director of Operations- Advance Practice, you will provide advanced nursing care, conduct exams, develop treatment plans, and coordinate with residents and families.

This full job requires a Master’s in Nursing, NP certification, and an active RN license in the practicing state, with at least two years of RN experience and willingness to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Master’s in Nursing from an accredited program required.
• Nurse Practitioner certification required.
• Active RN license in the state of practice required.
• Frequent travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Conducts physical exams and takes medical/social history.
• Makes independent decisions regarding management of medical problems.
• Orders, performs, and interprets laboratory tests for screening/diagnosis.
• Prescribes medications and other treatments as appropriate.
• Provides health education and counseling on maintenance and illness prevention.
• Monitors and follows up on patient progress and referrals.
