Job summary

National Church Residences seeks a Nurse Practitioner – Advance Practice to deliver advanced nursing care to residents under the supervision of the Director of Operations- Advance Practice. You will perform exams, manage care plans, and collaborate with clinicians to ensure high-quality services.

Required are a Master’s in Nursing with NP certification, an active RN license plus NP licensure in the practicing state, and frequent travel.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in Nursing and NP certification required.
Minimum two years of RN experience in healthcare setting.
Current RN license and NP licensure in the practicing state.
Frequent travel expected.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; English proficient.

Responsibilities

Conducts physical exams and comprehensive medical history.
Makes independent management decisions for medical problems.
Orders and interprets laboratory tests for screening and diagnosis.
Prescribes medications and orders treatments such as physical therapy.
Provides information, instruction, and counseling on health maintenance and illness management.
Coordinates referrals to specialists and other providers.
Maintains productivity to meet facility goals.
Performs client home visits when needed.
Rotational after-hours coverage.
