Job summary

National Church Residences seeks a Nurse Practitioner – Advance Practice to deliver advanced nursing care to residents under the supervision of the Director of Operations- Advance Practice. You will perform exams, manage care plans, and collaborate with clinicians to ensure high-quality services.

Required are a Master’s in Nursing with NP certification, an active RN license plus NP licensure in the practicing state, and frequent travel.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nursing and NP certification required.
• Minimum two years of RN experience in healthcare setting.
• Current RN license and NP licensure in the practicing state.
• Frequent travel expected.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; English proficient.

Responsibilities

• Conducts physical exams and comprehensive medical history.
• Makes independent management decisions for medical problems.
• Orders and interprets laboratory tests for screening and diagnosis.
• Prescribes medications and orders treatments such as physical therapy.
• Provides information, instruction, and counseling on health maintenance and illness management.
• Coordinates referrals to specialists and other providers.
• Maintains productivity to meet facility goals.
• Performs client home visits when needed.
• Rotational after-hours coverage.
