Job summary

AppleGate Recovery in Nashville, TN, is seeking a Nurse Practitioner for a contract, hybrid role focused on comprehensive psychiatric care and addiction treatment. You will independently manage patient recovery pathways within a multidisciplinary team, providing evidence-based, patient-centered care.

The position requires active TN NP licensure and MAT/addiction medicine experience, with board certification preferred.

Qualifications

At least 6 months of MAT / Addiction Medicine treatment experience preferred.
Active Board Certification (ANCC or AANP); Addiction Medicine certification or training preferred.
Drug rehabilitation training and clinical knowledge preferred.
Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in the State of Tennessee (TN).
Satisfactory drug screen and criminal background check.
Ability to interact compassionately and effectively with a diverse patient population.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive psychiatric and addiction treatment evaluations and design personalized care plans.
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans in coordination with clinical leadership.
Counsel patients on treatment options, medication management, and adherence to care plans.
Advocate for patients’ physical, emotional, and mental health needs to support long-term recovery.
