AppleGate Recovery, a division of BayMark Health Services, is seeking a Part-Time Nurse Practitioner for our LA clinics. The role offers flexible days with a hybrid schedule and 16 hours per pay period, across Bossier City and other LA locations including Lake Charles, Monroe, and Slidell.

The NP will work in addiction medicine settings, focusing on MAT and related patient care, with emphasis on comprehensive assessment, counseling, and education in outpatient clinics.

Formación

• Minimum 1 year of addiction medicine and MAT experience.
• Satisfactory drug screen and criminal background check.
• Must be licensed in the state of LA.
• Active DEA license in the state of LA.
• Drug rehabilitation training/knowledge required.

Responsabilidades

• Knowledge of substances of abuse, the disease of addiction, and signs and symptoms of detoxification.
• Collects and records data such as complete HPI and Assessment and Plan for each patient in a comprehensive, accurate, and systemic manner.
• Counsels patients and helps them understand their limitations and abilities.
• Documents patient progress/ regress according to established policies and procedures during appointments or upon notification of change in status from clinical coordinator or treatment center director.
• Supervising and instructing patients in oral medication self-administration and health education as needed.
• Knowledge of program policies and procedures.
